In the course of their annual “I am at home” seminar, the schoolchildren and kindergarten teachers of Zell kindergarten recently spent an eventful morning at Mahler. Joachim Keller greeted the children with a high visibility vest as a gift, and conveyed them with humor and child-friendly pictures the various work areas as well as the development history of the company.

Before the schoolchildren, equipped with a safety vest and a helmet, inspected the lab and the training workshop, they were able to strengthen themselves with lye sticks and apple scabies. In the laboratory, the children examined their fingers microscopically and learned interesting chemical sequences. In the apprenticeship workshop, the apprentices explained the work to the children and brought them closer to each other with various craft activities.

In this way, the children in reflective vest were able to observe exactly how a plastic gyroscope was produced in a machine, which they were allowed to take home with them. For the children it was a vividly designed and interesting morning.
