Reflective vest attract – be seen

From 140 meters away instead of 25 meters, a child is seen in the dark when wearing the bright yellow safety vest. This makes it significantly better protected against accidents in road traffic. For this reason and because they cannot yet assess the dangers as well as the larger pupils, the 71 schoolchildren got back the bright west of the ADAC Foundation “Geber Engel”.

The fourth graders (4b), with their class leader Christa Schreyer and Ralf Slash (transport instructors of the PI 6), gave their convincing slogans to attract the West. The 4b convincingly explained the advantages of the protective vest with its broad, orange reflective stripes together with the luminous effect due to the neon yellow color. Enthusiastically, the big ones distributed the West to the proud little ones and helped them dress.

And the drivers should consider this:

First-graders are only perceived by other participants as late or not at all.

Through an inadequate overview, children cannot adequately recognize and assess many dangerous situations.

Because children are not yet able to locate the noise of their environment, they are additionally disadvantaged in road traffic.

Children can not react so quickly yet. To stop or evade, they often lack the necessary time in risky situations.
