From 2021, drivers will be fined for the absence of four things

Experts have warned car owners about innovations in legislation from 2021. Now the driver should always keep four things in the trunk of the car, reports PRIMPRESS concerning the traffic police in the Primorsky Territory.

These rules apply to drivers in all regions of Russia, including Primorye.

There are four must-haves on the list. This is a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, warning triangle, and reflective vest. The latter was included in the mandatory list quite recently, due to amendments to the legislation.

In this case, the life of the first-aid kit mustn’t exceed five years. Also, the fire extinguisher should not be expired, otherwise, you can also get a fine for this.

As noted in the traffic police, in Russia this year the rules for the formation of a car first aid kit have changed. From January 1, drivers can assemble and assemble a first aid kit themselves. Previously, motorists had to buy a ready-made set.

Earlier it was reported that auto experts told how, on completely legal grounds, one can refuse to fulfill the requirement of an employee of the State Traffic Inspectorate to open the trunk of a car.
