What does the law say?

 

The Road Traffic Act stipulates that a pedestrian traveling outside the municipality in low visibility on the roadside or on the roadside in a place not illuminated by public lighting shall wear retro-reflective material placed so that it is visible to other road users on roads. “The obligation to be labeled is true not only in the dark but also, for example, at dawn, dusk, fog, snowfall or heavy rain,” says Vlasta Suchánková, a police spokeswoman in the Liberec Region.
