Signal clothing – life-saving specials

Signal clothing

And the phrase “saving lives” in the case of signal clothing is not just a beautiful epithet. The main purpose of this kind of special suits is to protect representatives of a number of professions from possible accidents during, for example, road or rescue operations. These are safety raincoats, safety vests, and safety jackets. They are also actively used by traffic police officers, drivers of transport, as well as in a number of cases, housing, and utility workers. Where can I buy signal clothing? Only in specialized stores, with suppliers whose reputation is impeccable. Why? The answer is simple: human lives often depend on the quality of the materials from which this kind of special costumes are made. Note that in Russia there are three classes of signal clothing. And this classification is a state standard (GOST).

Namely: The first class of signal clothing gives the least degree of protection because such suits have slight reflective properties.

Signal clothing of the second class is most common. It is often used when working on the roads in the mode of poor visibility.

But the signal clothing of the 3rd class provides the highest level of security – the concentration and density of the light-reflective materials and details of the construction used in it are maximum. In other words, the higher the level of retro-reflection of the material, the greater the distance of visibility to the person in signal clothing, and, accordingly, less risk! The quality of the material used is directly related both to the class of clothing and to the effectiveness and quality of protection of the person. That is why the choice of a supplier of signal clothing is very important, they note in the company “Mobisnab”, whose specialists know everything and a little more about working clothes for professionals.

How is the signal clothing class determined? Characteristics of the materials of which the signal clothing is sewn. There is, accordingly, background fabric (as a rule, bright fluorescent) and retro-reflective (reflectors – a kind of reflector that reflects light incident on it).

The classification is:

First class: background – 0.14 m², retro-reflective tape – 0.10 m². It is recommended, in particular, for the use of car parks and janitors.

Second class: background – 0.50 m², retro-reflective – 0.13 m². Used by employees of the “ambulance”, road services, traffic police, as well as drivers.

The third class – background – 0.80 m², retro-reflective – 0.20 m². Maximum degree of protection. Such signal clothing is actively used in the MOE.

By the way, the purchase of signal clothing for employees is a direct responsibility of managers of enterprises whose activities are related to the above difficult working conditions. In case of non-fulfillment of requirements, very unpleasant consequences may occur. At least – an administrative penalty. And then, if there was an incident that caused human casualties – a criminal one.

And another thing: experts advise not to ignore the signal clothing in everyday life. For example, when moving at night in poorly lit areas near the roadway.
