The children of the municipal day-care center thank the generous donation of Menden.

 

In keeping with the beginning of the new kindergarten year, the facility was equipped with sufficient safety vests for all children. The reflective triangles now ensure that the trips to the playground, the ice cream parlor or the zoo are even safer in the future.

 

The boys and girls can actively participate in the traffic because they are faster and better seen by cyclists and motorists. Talking to the children showed great interest and a good general knowledge about road safety: “I wear the safety vest with reflective materials , so I will not be run over by a car,” said a 5-year-old girl.

 

One boy added that in the Forest Week, you will definitely arrive safe in the forest. Positive side effect: The younger children feel cool and beautiful with the safety clothing and would also like to have a home.

 

The donation is now already a great success and the educators of the daycare are looking forward to the upcoming trips with sufficient safety in the traffic.
