Pedestrians, joggers, motorists: be visible

According to the Grand Ducal Police, no less than 10 accidents involved pedestrians last month. That is why this campaign has been revived. The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, road safety ASBL and the Grand Ducal Police have their last awareness campaign, which has two objectives:

Encourage vulnerable road users to make them visible, especially by wearing light clothing and even better by using reflective accessories,

Call on drivers to redouble their attention and adapt their speed in the presence of vulnerable users.

Here are the tips given by these three actors:

Consider the speed and distance of approaching vehicles. Make sure motorists see you. Put a reflective collar on your dog.

DANCERS: BE VISIBLE!

Wear reflective armbands and wear clothing with integrated reflective elements.

Wear a safety vest that is mandatory if you take the road out of town.

Light fires when visibility conditions require.

Report your maneuvers in good time.
