Balloon record remind students of road safety

Primary school students wear safety vest set up a new Polish record, releasing more than 1000 colorful balloons in the sky. Pupils, teachers and school staff participated in the record. Also pre-school kids joined – 945 people gathered at the school pitch.

Accurate counting of released balloons was not easy. On the one hand, to round a round of six thousand six balls hold two balloons. On the other – in full tension waiting for the start – every single balloon flew into the air.

Eventually, 1020 balloons were released, which was four times as much as the need to establish a new record. – Everything looked so nice! It was very exciting – Natalia, one of the students of the non-Jewish primary school, enjoys. The head of the school, explains that the collective beating of the record was primarily a pretext to remind students of road safety.

– On each balloon, there was information that we care about it in the action of the “Reflective school”. I hope this moment will be forever remembered in children and that they will always be associated with the fact that the more they are visible on the road, the safer they are, “explains K.

That is why the students, who took part in Monday’s record, set up reflective vests. They are obliged to have them on their way home from school and back (supervised by teachers and school employees). Tomasz and Augusto from the sixth grade argue that walking in a reflective vest even in the afternoons is no reason for shame.

“It’s very useful,” says Cuba, and explains that the person in the vest is much better visible, for example, to drivers. “I’ve seen such a test on TV and the difference is great,” he adds.

On the other hand, the school director announces another action related to road safety. – On Friday at 16 students will be able to come to the city park with their dogs. All pets will receive reflective collars. We have prepared them as many as 300 – announces Kristina. “The idea is that in the afternoon, when walking, children are aware that both they and their four-legged friends are going to be visible,” he adds.
