Police fines pedestrians for missing reflective elements

Policemen check whether pedestrians comply with the law and use reflective elements to enhance their visibility, “said police spokeswoman Lenya.

 

Traffic police went into the field on the first day. 12 pedestrians stopped. Half had to be reflective vest, six people went on the road outside the village without them.

“Each paid 500 crowns. Three other policemen for age admonished and instructed them about the necessity of the use of reflective elements, “said Katz and added that the traffic police have reflective tape in cars, so it is handed out to all those who did not.

 

The amendment to the Act, ordering pedestrians on the roads outside the village wearing reflective clothing came into force on February 20 this year. Until now, the police acted rather precaution. Fine, but they can give up to two thousand crowns.

“Similar events will continue in the coming days and other districts,” warned Katz.
