This is the weekend where you have to be particularly careful on the road which people wear safety clothing.

On the occasion of the long weekend of May 1 and it’s traditional, 35 roadside checks are planned in the department, mobilizing an average of 200 policemen who wear high visibility vest, announced this Friday the prefecture of Val-de-Marne.

And to give some basic advice: respect speed limits and safety distances, check the general condition of the vehicle, including tire pressure, the status of the lights and brakes, distribute the weights throughout the vehicle, consider the systematic use of the retro-reflective vest and triangle in the event of a breakdown on the road, not neglect the effects of fatigue on driving and not consume alcohol and / or narcotics.
