– I decided yesterday (read Friday) afternoon. Had we won on Wednesday so I definitely had cycled and now I felt it was good weather and I’ve still been training a little bit for this? The son can probably forgive him. Along with 80 other drug he was wearing a yellow safety vest who testified that he rode for the Gothenburg City Mission. They gathered last year in about 150 000 children and young people in social vulnerability. During the Giro had several ambassadors in the starting field.
– It feels good to be able to contribute something for the vulnerable people in the local environment. To help the City Mission is the best we can do as Gothenburgers. Its set position that we can build a sustainable society around us, says Stefan Albrechtson of his choice to ride for the City Mission.
The money that he and other ambassadors contribute through their entry fees goes to children and young people wearing reflective tape in social vulnerability in Gothenburg.
– One of the things that money goes to a summer camp where children living in social vulnerability and their families may attend a camp for a week. The barbecues, bathing and singing and it is very important for many of these young people, says Gothenburg City Mission communicator Malin Lernfelt.
Heden filled with sponsor tents and bike enthusiasts in reflective sunglasses and bike shorts. The Giro this year had just Heden as a base rejoiced Sävehofs club director.
– It feels right to have landed here. It shows that the moor can be used for much. It’s funny as hell, he says.
What is your experience of cycling?
– I started soft last year and survived when so I give it a chance. I had a motorcycle when I was younger. The I broke the leg on. I hope to keep on two wheels now.
