Fashion has to go sideways when it comes to safety. Reflective elements can also save your life. However, they must be worn correctly. Otherwise, they are almost unnecessary.

 

Every person should look at their safety in their interest, which is also helped by the wearing of reflective elements. Initially, the Slovaks were not enthusiastic about the Reflection Regulation but gradually considered that this was important. However, most people do not wear the reflective elements correctly and at the time they have them on them almost unnecessarily.

 

Can you wear the reflective tape correctly?

It is not an art to acquire a reflective element, but to know how to use it wisely and usefully. It is important that it is visible and not obscured by other layers of clothing or carry luggage.

 

How to do it:

 

Reflective elements should be used on the side of the body facing the road (not the side).

Reflective items should be placed best close to the knees and belt level, on the shoulder, cyclists also on the helmet and bicycles.

Reflective stickers stick to shoe soles, bicycles, skates, helmets, scooters, school bags, crutches or strollers.

Provide children with clothing, school bags, and accessories equipped with reflective and fluorescent safety features.

In poor visibility, a pedestrian on the verge or the edge of a road and a cyclist on the verge or the edge of a road must wear visually reflective elements or wear reflective safety clothing not only outside the village but also in the village.
