After the communication of our teacher Lenka Dufeková with the Municipal Police in Čadca, our members were willing to visit us and our children taught us something new and educational again.

 

Policewoman Marcela Voreková and her colleague Mr. Rusnak came in the morning and brought with them scooters, helmets, traffic signs, and reflective vests. At that moment, it was more than clear that we were going to deal with transport and related circumstances.

 

At first, municipal police officers gave a lecture on road traffic, means of transport and, in particular, on the dangers that we face in cooperation with it.

 

The children pointed out the need to wear reflective elements, forms of behavior at the pedestrian crossing as well as driving bicycles or other means of transport.

 

In the end, of course, they did not just stay on the theoretical level. They handed out reflective vests sew on reflective tape, helmets, and scooters to the children and, with the help of the brands they also brought, created a fictitious traffic situation. Children as road users had to respect traffic signs and police instructions.

 

The whole traffic event took place on the premises of the Kindergarten Milosova, on a self-built traffic playground, which was made for us by Jozef Masnica, for which he is grateful, as well as the city police – Mrs. Vorekova and Mr. Rusnak. Their traffic presentation and implementation have left many experiences and new knowledge in the children’s memory.
