The police officers in cooperation with the city officials and the City Guard prepared educational activities for children. On the playground held an outdoor meeting as part of the campaign “I am safe”. The square turned into educational workshops. All this to teach the principles of safe rest.

Police officers held a talk about basic security rules. Then there were knowledge quizzes about the rules of staying on the water, in the forest, at home, outside and on the road. Participants had to face many questions about where to swim, with what equipment and under whose watchful eye they should stay. The forest revealed to the children some information about the fire hazard and not only how to react in contact with animals. The fun while outdoors should take place away from the road, so that there is no accident. Staying at home during the holidays is a series of different situations that must be known to those who will be alone in it for some time.

There was a lot of interest in the position of women from the city office. Numerous reflective vests, reading and coloring books, and other small things have made everyone happy. The city guards prepared many ordering questions for children and also taught emergency numbers. Their materials promoted not only this type of service but also the principles of security. There was also fun together. Gifts that children received include a series of information brochures, reflective tapes, life buoys, water bottles, and phone protectors. Many of them had the slogan and the logo of the campaign “I’m safe on the water”. The gifts’ sponsors were the starosty, the town hall, and the police.
