Pupils from primary schools in Bydgoszcz and the Bydgoszcz district during the gala of the “Fashion for Reflexes” gala presented their ideas on how to encourage the young generation to wear reflective vests.

In the Cinema in Bydgoszcz on Thursday, there was a gala of the “Fashion for Reflexes” competition. The organizer of this undertaking is the National Road Safety Center in Warsaw and the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz. About 300 children from Bydgoszcz who came to participate in the project came to the “reflective” event.

The following members were invited to the jury: Krzysztof Grade – Manager of Bank, Marci – Motorsport rally driver, Justine Janie head of the Circle K petrol station in Bydgoszcz, Radius Probes from the Voivodeship Road Traffic Center in Bydgoszcz, podium. Marias Buna from the Prevention Department of the Municipal Police in Bydgoszcz and the chairman of the jury was Jack, president of the board of the National Road Safety Center. Committee members were also sponsors of prizes in this competition last year’s model.

The kids had great fun during the performances of small artists who presented dance arrangements and theatrical performances related to road safety. On the stage, The  reflective clothing with reflective material was very colorful-reflective and shining. Between the performances, the leaders asked questions in the form of riddles, they also checked knowledge of traffic regulations and safe behavior while crossing the street. Participants of the competition gala knew every answer perfectly well.

The event was hosted by staff sergeant Raga and senior inspector Monika from the Prevention Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz, and animators from the Smile Center provided great fun with the songs. In addition, invited specialists from the Department of Safety and Crisis Management of the Office in Bydgoszcz checked the children’s knowledge regarding notification of emergency services, discussing the principle of the 112 emergency number.
