The animal was wearing a reflective vest and a number for the owner, thanks to which he quickly returned home.

 

Wandering dog in the forest noticed Sergeant. Agnieszka and Sergeant Krzysztof. They had planned the service on the national road No. 27.

 

“The police officers were to check the behavior of the drivers on the road and control the speed and state of driver’s sobriety.” says the Stanislavski, from the Zielona Góra command.

 

When the roadside patrol was driving towards Zielona Góra, he noticed a wandering dog in the forest. “The animal caught the attention of the policemen because they had a reflective vest with reflective

materials. The dog looked lost, but he was calm, gentle, he was not afraid of people and he let himself be approached.” adds the policewoman.

 

It turned out that on the collar there is a phone number for the owner of the dog. The policemen called him with information about finding a dog.

 

“The owner was very pleased and thanked the policemen. He said the dog was involved in the hunt. When he ran after the game and did not return for a long time, the owner and his friends began to look for him. It turned out that the dog was far away and if it was not for the help of policemen it would be difficult to find him.” says the Stanislavski.

 

He emphasizes that this situation shows how important in everyday life are reflective elements that not only serve people but also, as in this case, animals.

 

“If the dog was not wearing a reflective vest with reflective tapes, it would be difficult to notice. Similarly, when pedestrians navigating the streets use reflective elements. Thanks to them, they are better visible to drivers, and therefore more secure. Let’s remember about it and let us take care of our safety.” the policewoman appeals.
