Pedestrians still risk without reflective material

Pedestrians still gamble with their health and their lives. They are among the most vulnerable road users at all. One of the basic rules of how to survive in health not only during morning rush is to be seen. Of course, they are not. The police and BESIP events in the whole region were also focused on the visibility of pedestrians and their use of reflective material.

Police officers discussed here pedestrians of all ages, alerted them to possible mistakes, asked them about reflective elements and materials, and gave them the reflective tapes themselves. “People need to be constantly reminded of the events, the better,” he says at one of the venues where prevention took place.

We are in Street and it is still dark outside. However, the traffic is huge here, cars, buses, around people who are rushing to work, and children are coming to nearby schools. “It was here last November that there was a tragic car crash and a woman who crossed the street,” police spokesperson Slate explains.

In Karvina, police also picked up similarly frequented sections in Street. “Sometimes I’m skeptical, because of these events, I know how many reflective tapes we distribute to people. When it comes to the next, eighty percent of them still do not wear the tapes, or they will tell me that they have seven at home, “says Panel.

“I always tell people to realize that it’s not only their health, but they also bring the driver to the misfortune and the families of the families are unhappy,” adds BESIP. As you can see, reflexive elements are not really in fashion in practice. In addition, the road outside the gradients is busy passing and passing by young and old.

There is a law in the Czech Republic that carries reflective vests to pedestrians on non-lighted roads outside the city. Representatives of BESIP and the police agree that the law should also apply in cities. “In Slovakia, the statistics of road accidents with pedestrians already show that they are down and meaningful,” adds Panel.

Another dangerous behavior of pedestrians is their belief that they have an absolute priority when entering the crossroads, but this is not true and can be the cause of many accidents with unprecedented consequences.
