Because it is increasingly difficult to drive and park in the streets of Bordeaux, many of you have adopted the bicycle as a means of transport. In the first quarter of 2017, the metropolis of Bordeaux recorded an increase of 18.6% in cycling compared to the first quarter of 2016. But are you sure to be well seen and well identified as a cyclist? By day and even more at night, it is important to be seen to circulate safely. This is why France Bleu Gironde will offer you security kits, Friday, October 27 from 7am, in partnership with the AGEA, general insurance agents of our department.

The kits included 1 safety vest with reflective stripes, 1 yellow backpack with reflective stripes, 1 reflective bracelet, and adhesives to stick on the bicycle frame.

Friday, October 27th, at 7:00 am, Olivier Caroler, the French Bleu Gironde’s traveling ambassador, will go to place Pay Borland, place Gambetta, on the quays of Bordeaux and along the Pierre Bridge to give you these reflective equipments “well seen, together”. And if the godfather of this operation led by the France Bleu network is Nelson Montfort, the sportsman Maxima Moissan as captain of the Boxers of Bordeaux has agreed to be the one of the operation conducted in Bordeaux.
