The promotion of wearing reflective vest ended with the handing over of all reflective sets funded by the self-government.

“You are visible, you are safe” is an action promoting the wearing of reflective elements. It is related to the change of traffic rules, which since 31 August introduce the necessity to wear reflective elements by all pedestrians moving in the dark in the undeveloped area. Several road safety events will take place in several schools.

– Introducing the obligation to wear reflectors after dark is an important and a good change, because already one reflective safety vest can save our lives. Hikers and cyclists are unprotected and most vulnerable road users. They will not protect their seat belts, air cushions or air curtains. In addition, after dark, drivers have limited visibility. You can only see 20-30 meters without a glare, but when he is wearing a reflective element he is visible from 150 meters. These meters often save lives – emphasizes Marshal Adam.

“You are visible, you are safe” is a new action of self-government of the Amazonian Province, the Amazonia Road Safety Council, the Midirons, the Polish Automobile Club, Amazonian WORD and Amazonian Airport Warsaw-Maudlin. Within the framework of the action, the inhabitants of Amazonia will reach 23 thousand sets of reflective elements. Each consists of four elements – two retro wrist straps and two reflective straps that can be attached to your clothes or briefs. This will allow for up to four people, such as two parents and two children. Safety on the road and the benefits of wearing reflective elements will promote events in selected schools in Amazonia.
