Is it the stupidity of a killed little Daewoo driver, or the bravery of a big tire driver? For now it is difficult to say who caused the tragic accident. The fact is that with the Daewoo – crushed between two screens without safety vest – there was literally nothing. The driver died and his 5-year-old daughter. They had no chance.

 

It was a beautiful sunny day; the road was in perfect condition. It often happens that drivers are feeling safe and mad at the moment. Was this the case this time? Someone must be guilty… At 16.30 the man drove with his daughter Daewoo tick the national road K-8. The child was fastened in the child seat. At one point, at the height of the town of Probe, the car was between two tires that rode in the same belt.

 

It was then – for unknown reasons – suddenly a tragedy happened. The driver of the back of the truck, a 41-year-old resident, hit the back of a small tick, then pushed him forward, pressing against the Renault truck in front of him. The view was scary.

The cause of the accident is unknown for the time being. The police under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office investigate the matter. The tire driver who crushed the tick – and contributed to the death of his father and his baby – is so far in shock. It may well have been that too good weather conditions have reduced his alertness, causing him to press the gas pedal too hard. Or maybe he was just in a hurry…

 

Whatever happened – when leaving for vacation let’s keep in mind that the most important cause of accidents on the road is too fast driving. Hurry can kill us!

And the police statistics are shocking. They show that the summer on the roads is at least as dangerous as in other seasons of the year. During the first dozen or so days of vacation, almost 1.6 thousand traffic accidents happened! People were injured and as many as 130 lost their lives. It is during the summer holidays that children and even families are often killed. The driver of the mind is already on vacation – then it is easy to forget that careless driving and lack of imagination can cost the lives of his and his loved ones.
