A gift in the form of a reflective tape can save life

The town of Remittal gave all schoolchildren and pre-schoolchildren a reflective ribbon. This gift with a city coat of arms also received all inhabitants of nursing homes in the first week of validity of the amendment to the Road Act.

Pedestrians have a duty to wear a reflective element since February 20, for example when they are in the dark, dark or foggy Village on the edge or edge of the road in a place not illuminated by public lighting. Experts add that it’s good to use reflective material for safety reasons where there is a risk that the driver will not be able to recognize the pedestrian in a safe and timely manner.

“By purchasing reflective tapes, we wanted children and people in our nursing homes to provide greater road safety. In addition, thanks to this gift from the city, the revised road law can be followed without any money, “said Mayor Josef.” It is definitely a meaningful investment, even if it helps to prevent even one serious injury, it is worth it. Seeing and seeing is the basic rule of road safety, where pedestrians and cyclists are the most vulnerable, “the Mayor added.
