Not even the latest editions of the Tour of Italy and Tour de France had brought on the roads so many cyclists with safety vest. And in the stages they were certainly the wee hours. Which is why the first edition of “Milan” of Bike Night can bring joy to its organizers: more than 500 members (529 to be exact) and as many participants.

One hundred kilometers traveled by cyclists, from Milan to Aroma on Lake Maggiore, starting in Piazza Leonardo Vinci at midnight. The route into town was thinned in the renewed square and Piazza, to the canals and bicycle path along the Canal Grande. Along the way a staff, equipped with cars queuing at the last participant has provided assistance to anyone in need. Everyone had a reflective vest and – of course – running lights on the vehicle. Twenty-five kilometers per hour is the speed limit.

“Bike Night is an event bike that combines the night, the passion and the people,” explained the organizers Wittier (along with up cycle and Bike ), a group of people wear reflective clothing who “interprets the bike, not as a mere means competitive or transport, but if it were the key to open their energy world and discoveries. ” The event’s debut was in Ferrara in 2014. To show that even under the Madonna “the passion for bikes never sleeps”.
