Motorcyclists desire wearing safety vest

Czechs like motorcycling which needs to wear reflective jacket – in this beautiful country they are much more popular than us and in spite of the more mountainous terrain. After all, they are one of the Moto GP rounds, not to mention WSBK races and street races. The Czech for Street Racing brand hits the market with a combination of sports and street style.

Often, when trying on leather suits, I have the impression that they are sewn exclusively on newspaper models – any physical strength (including beer muscles) is not indicated. When something was right in the waist, it was on the bottom, the knees were rolling and the shoulders were tight. 4SR is basically the first suit I stuck with and immediately perfect. Although I do not belong to the athletes, the trousers perfectly spoke my legs and the length of the legs was great with the width of the belt – just as comfortable in the jacket, slightly wider in the shoulders and on the belly respectively. Czechs know how to hit the dimensions!

The tuneful name goes hand in hand with an unusual color – the RR EVO II Pearl Blue stands out from the crowd. The 4SR also mentions it in its information brochure – sharp blush colors, to attract the sight of Sunday drivers, telling them that the motorcyclist is on the road. OK – it works, a combination of dark blue steel (aver MB); bluish red (salmon?), Black and white gives a beautiful “eye” landscape. Malicious people will criticize, individualists will be delighted. We’ll be on this ride!

Beyond appearance, this is the most important aspect of motorbike safety vests. For street racing is really one of the highest sports but also two-piece sports suits. It was made of thick 1.2mm bovine skins, double and triple seams and a weight of extra reinforcement. 4SR boast a new improved slice – there is a large amount of material, especially on the inside of the thighs and crotch. During all-day stay on speed day I never took off – despite the natural stiffness of the skin, trousers are comfortable.

Huge double arm pads (from elbow to wrist) make us look like Popeye (in a positive sense), reinforcement and hard pads on elbows, shoulders and knees are already standard. There are things like soft hips, tail bones, and even sleeves of Kevlar straps. It is thick. One thing is essentially missing – a back pad. There is no standard in it, you have to buy it. By doing this, we can also equip the chest protector from tec. In this way, we are armed better than medieval knights.

Our “Blue” was used as intended – we took it to the track and then the street and the city. On the Poznan circuit (which was a debut for the suit and for me) – the blacksmith did exactly what he should, did not bother while driving, allowing maximum focus on driving and improving subsequent journeys. It was without soil, and the 4SR was safe (along with an accessory turtle underneath it) providing peace of mind and comfort.

Riding off the track is a completely different world. Seeing the 30C on the thermometer, you are reluctant to look toward the thick suit. Well, safety first and foremost. Driving on fast-paced motorbikes is not much different from the feeling we know from the track. Basically, the reflective clothing is doing very well; it is still comfortable (although I would rather not travel to tourism). The situation changes as we enter the city – then we will feel the biggest shortcoming of our costume – no perforation.

The lack of “holes” in the skin permeating the wind sweating our sweaty hair on the cage is a big minus. I feel it first of all in the heat, in me it coincided with the drive of the city – longer treatment of such a mixture is like a visit to the Swedish sauna, with two natives equipped with birch twigs. You will not come out dry.

According to the Czech Republic – large Stretch panels allow a lot of air, but do not make fun. This is not enough when the temperature exceeds 30C. But it is quite nice to be around 20-26C. Then the weather is perfect for this skin.

For me it’s a lack of pocket. Ok – it’s the ultimate sports model, but it’s still a two-piece suit with a main street design. The outer pocket is missing; there are two internal where we can hide the phone and documents. Every time we want to use something we hide there is a long journey of undressing, unbuttoning and re-dressing
