Carrefour: red card for reflective cuff

As a chewing gum under the shoe, retro-reflective armband turns out well sticky. This is the bitter discovery made by the antenna FMWC of Seine-et-Marne in two supermarkets Carrefour. Retro-reflective armbands are on sale, with up to the intervention of Motorcyclists in Anger, the words: “Equipment Reflective * mandatory on 1 January ” on the package…

Warned by consumers, FMWC 77 responded by challenging, May 27, store managers by registered letter. Here is an excerpt: “The interior minister, Manuel Vials, published in the Official Journal (JORF No. 0001 of 1 January 2013 Page 130 Text No. 48) arrested an 18 December repealing the decree of January 3. The information provided in order to sell your retro-reflective material devices is incorrect.

These actions are not only disrespectful vis-à-vis your customers, but also illegal. They might, indeed, be described as deceptive trade practice, defined and punished by the L121-1 and following of the Consumer Code…”

Result

Stores responded on May 28 pledging to hide the mention referring to the requirement obsolete. The supermarket manager Collegian also said it had recovered information from their procurement center to intervene from the supplier.

Standby

This is not the first action taken by the FFMC 77, having already obtained satisfaction in Carrefour and Villiers about the same problem. The question is whether the 228 Carrefour stores located in France will be in tune… As you make us up information!

Hopefully, also, that the manufacturer armbands with reflective tape stop trying to distribute a product become irrelevant. Otherwise, store managers will use the black marker!
