For drivers it is important to know that children behave unpredictably – and that a restricted driving speed just protects the most vulnerable road users. Parents are role models. “What the parents to set an example to their children, is critical,” says Bartech and appeals: “Although it is sometimes faster or easier, the road just to cross so, parents should always be examples for their children and with them about only at the lights on walk the streets.”

In addition, parents should practice with their children everyday situations, especially on obstructions. The issue of “parent taxi” plays a role. Because it more and more children are brought by their parents by car to school. “Again, there are some rules that should be observed,” says Bartech. Besides all uncertainties on the road that will train in theory, one should note something to avoid accidents. Bartech: “Avoid dark clothing, wear bright reflective vest, best yet reflecting the lights namely up to 150 meters.” Although they could also accidents not are ruled out, but in combination with the other measures, a puzzle that could help it observes that the number of accidents involving the children, to minimize says Bartech.
