Police with fines waits while handing out reflective tapes

About two and a half thousand crowns can be expensive from Saturday evening to pedestrians walking along the road. If you cannot recall at reduced visibility outside the village reflective material, there are risking a fine. The amendment to the Act seeks to reduce the number of collisions with cars of people.

 

Police in the early weeks of the validity of the amendment to the Road Traffic Act focuses more on prevention than on fining pedestrians. “In the region we are planning dozens of events on which we want to inform pedestrians about the new responsibilities and give them items reflective finish,” said police spokesman Svab.

 

The first reflective belts, bags and safety vests handed police in Brno on Thursday. They stopped and informed about thirty people. “Few of them knew about the change in the law,” said Svab. It also recommended wearing highly visible clothing accessories, not only outside the community, but also within them.
