Motorcycle Festival presents rescue equipment and numerous attractions, including reflective tape, safety vest, and other road safety equipments, promoting motorcycle safety behavior among road users. The project is implemented by the National Center for Road Safety and the Regional Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz from the Operational Program Civic Initiatives Fund.
During the picnic prophylactic, which took place in Bydgoszcz, participants presented motorcycle techniques and Police equipment, ie. Emergency ambulance accident, DVR, motorcycle safety vest, reflective tapes – provided by the Road Traffic Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz, equipment which have units of the State Fire Service , used during the liquidation of the consequences of road accidents – provided by the Municipal State Fire Service in Bydgoszcz, a driving simulator and vehicle examination for category B – who provided the Provincial traffic Centre in Bydgoszcz, equipment used to teach the technique of driving a car and a motorcycle and go-kart – He presented the Polish Motor Union in Bydgoszcz.
In addition, there was a show technique of driving on a disc slip and were simulated traffic accident in which participation took emergency services and protective safety vest. The aim of the project “Promoting motorcycle safety behavior among road users” is to improve road safety by changing the relationship between the different groups which are a participant in traffic. As specific objectives but noted: increase public awareness to wear reflective vest, improving the assessment of police work and the level of insecurity among the local population, the increase in professional qualifications among police officers in terms of first aid to victims of road accidents and securing of the accident and improving techniques of motorcycle.
