Four strands of LED lights that can be clamped in the tail of a horse, make animal and rider are clearly visible on the road.
Riders are not easily visible in the dark, despite the use of, for example a reflective safety vest or reflectors. In the Netherlands in the dark is required on the road lighting, but the small bike lights, in practice, not sufficient.
According to the American company Taillights hit, thousands of horses and their riders injured or die as a result of a collision with a vehicle. That happened to a friend of Sami Gross, founder of taillight, which they developed better lighting for the horse.
The illumination Taillights is simple but effective. The lighting for the rear of the horse is composed of four strands of LED lighting, which as a kind of braids in the tail of the horse are to clamp.

With a remote control, the driver with reflective tape can turn on and off lights, adjust the intensity and do change color. On the front is to confirm the LED lighting with a clip on the breastplate of the horse. This is diffuse light that, according to Tail Lights does not have any negative effect on the visibility of the horse.
Taillights have a striking effect and increase the visibility of the horse in the dark. As the strand of LEDs illuminate the entire tail and back of the horse, other motorists can see more easily that a horse is running on the road.
