Now that the heat is gradually installed on the Hexagon, comes the test was held.

This is a first test of the Gore Bike Wear brand for me. A relatively simple appearance jersey but still offers some interesting technical points.

For committed exercisers, this jersey is a lightweight, extensible model.

Designed in a blend of technical materials (Main reflective fabric: 95% polyamide / 5% eglantine – Inserts: 78% nylon / 22% eglantine – Mesh: 100% polyester), this shirt with short sleeves is best characterized by the innovative design of its pockets. These, very satisfied, stay in place, no sag or sway back.

There are of course the usual 3 rear pockets and a little extra zip pocket in the middle, raised of a reflective tape for safety. Usually called a security pouch pocket in which we will store its key example.
On the sides, there are two additional mesh pockets, which are used for example to store empty containers, but can be used to store what you want.

They are quite deep and allow the elastic to maintain good content. By cons, it is more difficult to catch a small fruit pulp if it is at the bottom of this pocket to entry rather narrow.

Some opt for storing gels in these pockets while the rods go into the back pockets.

Anyway, this shirt is no shortage of storage space.
The shirt goes high enough and has a zip (YKK brand) to lock slider entire length.

This closure is protected by an internal flap that will prevent air from entering, which is always nice in a neck down, for example.

At the bottom of the shirt, there is a usual silicone strip on the back that keeps the jersey in place.

Side temperatures, this jersey is suitable from 15 °. For cooler outputs, Gore Bike Wear Oxygen jersey offers this version Wind stopper, which should be a bit more insulation below 15 °.

Even at over 27 ° temperatures, this jersey is relatively comfortable to wear and airy. Only the internal texture is sometimes less pleasant if you do not wear underwear. For my part, I always prefer to wear underwear under my reflective shirt, but know that this model can be worn next to the skin.

The shirt is breathable but not really out of competition at this level. To go to the mountain, a windbreaker will be required to address the raids because it breathable side in this case is a little too far, especially if it was not bad transpired and the temperature is not close to 20 °.

The YKK locking zipper is very pleasant to use.
