Reflective classic hats and scarves

Lisa t Gustafson is a product manager in the relatively fledgling firm Moral. They produce hats, scarves, mittens west, with reflectors for both children and adults.

It started as a final assignment at the University of Adder. Sire Ural Bake and I created a fictitious company that sold hats knitted with reflective yarn, but then we got such a good response that we started for real afterwards. After some trial and error, we were started in November 2011, says Gustafson.

It took quickly by, and now the firm has two full-time employees and delivers to 160 dealers throughout Norway from Svalbard in the north to Kristiansand in the south.

Our starting point was that reflexes often very tedious and we wanted to get it into the classic products that everyone uses already. We began with caps, and have gradually expanded and developed products. New this fall is knitted scarf with reflex, which has already been very popular among both adults and slightly older children, says Gustafson.

Phosphorescence also sells west, cotton hats with printed reflex.

This fall you can also buy in most good sports stores and from Hernia. It is available in four variants and are completely safe to use, says Arne Sylliåsen in Weans Limited, which distributes the spray Albedo100 in Norway.

This is a product that can be sprayed for example, exercise clothes, bicycles and strollers, or directly on the fur of horses or pets, explains Sylliåsen.

There are two different varieties of fabric, one that is almost invisible in normal daylight and one which is gray. These can be used on clothing, purses and bags, and disappears when the garment is washed. The spray of animals also goes by the sink. In addition, a permanent spray for use on firmer materials, such as bicycles, scooters helmets or strollers.

Safe Traffic believes that reflex spray is not well enough alone, since the reflective effect is lower than in conventional reflectors. They started out in the media in autumn 2015, and recommended that such spray used as a supplement to regular approved reflector.

Camilla Tully in Class Olson report that their refleksdyr, small toys in reflective fabric that can be hung for example on nursery bag, is very popular among the youngest children.

Class Olson also has several types of small LED lights that can be attached to shoes or clothing as an alternative to reflex.

There are many joggers who use them on their shoes to seem better, and some types are suited for children too. For example, they can easily be attached to a zipper. We also sell reflective tape and some sort of reflective tape, says Tully.
