These 1st rankings got a reflective vest<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0on the occasion of the reflex day.<\/p>\n

1st class at Enger school got a reflex vest by Kirsten Wassend, bank manager Channels, and markets at Modum Sparebank, Thursday morning on the occasion of Reflex Day which is today. Reflection Day is a national collaboration between Trygg Trafikkog and the bank.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The rest of the elementary schools in Modum have also been given reflexes today, and the bank hopes this will help to get more people to use reflexes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So the car is not driving on us<\/p>\n

But do the children know why they should use reflex? Bygdeposten asks Gracjana Czarnecka, who has just worn the vest with reflective tape<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and stands with her best friend Pia Svensli Ellingsen.<\/p>\n

When it is dark outside and cars are driving, we must use refle<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>ctive material<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0so that the car does not drive at us, she says without hesitation.<\/p>\n

“I usually use it when it gets dark,” says Pia.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year, National Reflection Day is being organized for the 8th time. Safe Traffic writes on its website that:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The “National Road Safety Action Plan” states that 40 percent will use reflexes in cities and towns, and 60 percent will use reflexes outside cities and towns in 2014. Last year’s nationwide surveys show that 29 percent of the adult population uses reflexes, so there is a long way to go. National Reflection Day is an important contribution to achieving the goal.<\/p>\n

“We focus on reflex use at school.
