The competition promoting road safety was organized by – Road Traffic Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters, the Ma\u0142opolskie Provincial Road Safety Council, the Board of Education in Krakow, the Ma\u0142opolskie Provincial Office and the Marshal Office of the Ma\u0142opolskie Voivodeship.<\/p>\n
“One of the main goals of the campaign is to draw attention to the need for a statutory obligation for children to use reflective material<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>s and to promote all initiatives limiting traffic risks,” informs Marias Wick, acting spokesperson of the Nowy Targ police.<\/p>\n The activities carried out in the last two months covered not only the entire school community but also the local environment. As part of the competition, many interesting and important initiatives to promote safety were undertaken, including all students along with the pre-school department were equipped with vests and other reflective elements\u00a0which made of reflective fabric<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/a>s, the students participated in art competitions and a competition about road safety.<\/p>\n Several interesting events were organized at the school, promoting the idea of wearing\u00a0r<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>eflective <\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>vest<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>s, among them the “Reflective vow of first graders”, meeting with a policeman (on which prizes for the winners of individual competitions were given), “Refresh March” near the school with banners, during which the students encouraged to wear reflectors – he adds.<\/p>\n The competition was accompanied by the promotion of safety among seniors. The students gave reflections to seniors.
