That is why this campaign has been revived. The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, <strong><em>road safety<\/em><\/strong> ASBL and the Grand Ducal Police have their last awareness campaign, which has two objectives:<\/p>\n<p>Encourage vulnerable road users to make them visible, especially by wearing light clothing and even better by using reflective accessories,<\/p>\n<p>Call on drivers to redouble their attention and adapt their speed in the presence of vulnerable users.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here are the tips given by these three actors:<\/p>\n<p>PEDESTRIANS: BE VISIBLE!<\/p>\n<p>Wear clothing with <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinareflective.com\/\">reflective material<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, armbands, jackets, reflective strips, umbrellas and reflective pads &#8211; all accessories for long-distance viewing by motorists.<\/p>\n<p>Walk in front of traffic on country roads and wear the mandatory safety vest.<\/p>\n<p>Consider the speed and distance of approaching vehicles. Make sure motorists see you. Put a reflective collar on your dog.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DANCERS: BE VISIBLE!<\/p>\n<p>Wear reflective armbands and wear clothing with integrated reflective elements.<\/p>\n<p>Wear a <strong><em>safety vest<\/em><\/strong> that is mandatory if you take the road out of town.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>AUTOMOBILISTS: BE VISIBLE!<\/p>\n<p>Light fires when visibility conditions require.<\/p>\n<p>Report your maneuvers in good time.<\/p>\n<p>Adapt your speed.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure windows and vehicle lights are clean (in winter cleared of snow or ice).<\/p>\n<p>Take into account the potential errors of pedestrians in the traffic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"According to the Grand Ducal Police, no less than 10 accidents involved pedestrians last month.
